REAR DOOR COOLING

Cooling at the back of the rack.

The HXK Series rear-door heat exchanger replaces the cabinet's rear door and removes heat the moment it leaves the servers — close-coupled cooling for the highest-density racks.

It needs no extra floor space and no structural change to the cabinet; the heat-pipe version uses no compressor, no pump, and keeps water out of the IT room.

Available as heat-pipe or chilled-water, single- or double-door, from 3 to 24 kW per cabinet (with high-density wall versions beyond).

Key capabilities.

  • Heat-pipe or chilled-water

  • Single- or double-door (100% redundancy)

  • No structural change to the cabinet

Why it wins?

  • Built for high density : 3–24kWpercabinet,rightat the heat source.

  • Safe & water-free : Phase-changecooling; no condensate, no water in the room.

  • Proven & reliable : Sealeddoor-shaftconnector; 30,000 units deployed.

  • 100% redundancy : Double-doorversionkeeps cooling if one side stops.

Where you'd use it

  • Highest-density racks : Heat loads no room AC or in-row can fully absorb.

  • Modular & micro-module DCs : Cooling at every cabinet in the module.

  • Cold / hot-aisle data centers : Close-couple the heat before it mixes.

  • Space-constrained rooms : No extra floor area; mounts on the cabinet.

Features & technology

  • Phase-change heat-pipe — no compressor, no pump; water stays out of the room

  • Double-door redundancy — 100% — cooling continues if one side stops.

  • Proven connector — 145 bar, 100,000 cycles leak-free; 4 yrs zero failures.

  • Fully sensible cooling — no condensate to manage.

  • No structural change — hangs on the cabinet's rear tie-points.

  • No structural change — hangs on the cabinet's rear tie-points.

Questions, answered

  • How is it different from room AC? — It cools at the back of the rack, taking heat the instant it leaves the servers ideal for               densities room AC can't handle.

  • What about redundancy?— The double-door version gives 100% redundancy cooling continues if one side stops.

  • Does water enter the IT room? — No, the heat-pipe version uses phase-change refrigerant; no compressor, no pump, no                 condensate.

  • Heat-pipe or chilled-water? —Heat-pipe for the simplest, water-free install; chilled-water with a CW plant. 3–24 kW per                   cabinet.
